University funding cut - spending on the Afghan war up
Monday, 01 February 2010 21:44

It's easy to see where Gordon Brown's priorities are. Spending on universities is to be cut by £400 million over the coming year, while spending on the war in Afghanistan is to increase by £1.5 BILLION.

If you consider that spending on the war will be £5 billion this year you may be tempted to ask why we are spending TWELVE TIMES as much on the war as we are cutting from the universities. However if you do ask that question you will be branded a racist, a paedophile or told that you simply don't understand, in other words standard Labour tactics for dealing with anyone who opposes them.
