I bought a pair of Vanguard binoculars in January 2009, 8x42 for outdoor observation, I expect it will be mostly birdwatching.

Last week I noticed that the logo was missing from the front of the binoculars. I can only suggest that the screw was loose and it has fallen off. I didn't even know that it could be removed. Probably it was not tightened during manufacture.

As it is less than four months since I bought these 8x42 Vanguard roof prism LDT binoculars I'm surprised and would like a replacement screw / logo plate to be sent to me free of charge. As it looks like the original has just fallen off it might be a good idea if I was sent two, so that if it happens again I will have a spare.
