Incompetence of breathtaking proportions

There is nothing to expose except on the Labour side

Sunday, 27 September 2009 16:25

On the eve of the Labour party's last major conference before the general election, Welsh Secretary Peter Hain said "Labour must expose the Tories.

What is Mr Hain talking about?

Labour has been in power now for 12 years, got the UK into the most dreadful mess in living memory, mortgaged the future and printed 175 billion pounds of 'funny money'. We, our children and our grandchildren will be paying Labour's debts and Hain suggests that the tories should be exposed!

What planet does Peter Hain live on?

Anyone suggesting that the tories should be exposed is talking nonsense, it's Labour that is exposed by their own deeds. Roll on the general election so that the people of the country can send a message to Mr Hain and his fellow MPs. In many cases that message will be 'on yer bike'.

Lady Scotland should have been sacked immediately

Wednesday, 23 September 2009 06:31

Instead of showing leadership over Lady Scotland dear Gordon Brown has come out procrastinating and dithering once again. It's not for nothing that he's called ditherer Brown.

In a situation where the most senior law officer of the government has committed a crime there's only one course of action that has any credibility and that's instant dismissal.

Here we see what's wrong with Labour - one rule for the ruling elite, one rule for the rest. From the party that's always bleating on about racism, inequality and forcing political correctness down the throats of the population this is hypocrisy on a monumental scale.

The sooner we are without this corrupt and impotent government the sooner we can start living again.

CCTV surveillance a waste of time says senior police officer

Monday, 24 August 2009 18:54

One crime solved per 1,000 CCTV cameras, that's the truth of the matter.

We are all photographed at least 300 times a day and those images are poured over by an army of faceless watchers with a pitiful result. Basically it's a waste of time and money, but most of us know that anyway.

It's good for catching the odd motorist straying into a bus lane, of nipping into a newsagent to buy a paper and leaving the car on double-yellows, but nothing more.

So why is this government so wedded to CCTV and surveillance?

Why are we forbidden to take liquids onto aircraft and submitted to intimate searches by inept and heavy-handed staff in airports?

The answer is simple, Labour is the party of control. Remember the soviet era with a political officer in every workplace and apartment block - that's were Labour have taken us, straight to Orwell's nightmare 1984.

Fear in the population is what keeps politicians in a job, by making us afraid they can present themselves as the only ones who can save the country.

Only a fews days ago Gordon Brown was telling us that if British troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan we would have terrorists on our streets. That's simply not true, it just serves to keep the gullible living in fear.

Same with the air travel, by the time you arrive at the airport the most danerous part of your journey is over - that's the road transportation!
